S D Academy is down in the basement of the Dalpat Singh Building. It's at number 61 in Prateek Market, Munirka. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the park and near the Canara Bank. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a blessing in Delhi. However, we have to keep the lights on all the time because there’s not much natural sun down there. The market outside is always humming with people and cars. Sometimes you can hear the kids playing in the park across the street while we are trying to focus on grammar or sums. It’s a busy little area. We have a few rooms partitioned off with some wooden boards. They aren't soundproof, so you can hear what's happening next door. It’s all very basic. We’ve got some old wooden benches and a couple of plastic chairs for the parents who wait. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the students to show up. Most of them live in the Munirka village area or the apartments nearby. It’s a practical space. We focus on the books and the exams coming up. There’s always a pile of old question papers sitting on the corner table. It's just how things are here. We just keep working through the lessons.
