We have been running Roy Education here in Kalkaji for quite a long time now. It is a small place, really just a couple of rooms where we set up tables and chairs for the students. You can find us easily enough once you get into this part of the neighborhood. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use some new paint, but they do the job just fine. Most days, we open up early in the morning to get things ready before the first group arrives. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the schools nearby let out and the kids start walking over. We don't have anything fancy like big computers or air conditioning in every corner, just the basic stuff you need to sit down and study. Sometimes the chai wala from down the street brings us tea while we are helping someone with their math or English. It’s just a regular local spot where people come to get a bit of extra help with their schoolwork. We know most of the parents around here by name because they stop by to check on how things are going. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of our time just sitting at the main desk, looking over notes or talking to students who are struggling with a specific chapter. We try to keep things quiet so everyone can focus, though the sounds of the Kalkaji market usually drift in through the windows.
