Retro is tucked away at B- 29 in the Freedom Figthers Enclave, right off the main Ignou Road. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if the traffic on Ignou Road is heavy, which is basically every day of the week. I spend a lot of my time just looking out the window at B- 29 watching the cars and buses crawl by. The enclave is actually a nice spot though, a bit more peaceful once you get inside the gate. At Retro, we don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working in this space. We keep the place pretty cluttered with various samples and old folders. I like the name Retro, it kind of fits the vibe of the older buildings and the trees around here. We’ve been at B- 29 for a while now. Some days are quite slow and we just sit around the table talking about what to eat for lunch or the weather. Other days it’s a total mess and we are running around trying to find where we put a specific file. That’s just how it is. Freedom Figthers Enclave is a landmark that most people in this area know, so it helps when we have to give directions to anyone. Ignou Road is always noisy, but once you step into the office at Retro, it’s just us doing our thing.
