Resource Development International is the name we use, but it’s a small operation running out of a tight street in a very crowded part of the city. Delhi-11006 is a busy zip code and our little corner is no different. There is always noise from the street and people walking past the door. The office is small and filled with books and papers everywhere. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to stay organized just to be able to move around. We spend our time looking into resources and trying to develop things for the people who reach out to us. It is mostly desk work and a lot of reading. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy boardroom. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and get our work done without being bothered too much by the outside world. We have been in Teiwara for a while and we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. People know where we are if they need us. We don’t do anything flashy. We just show up every day, drink some water, and get through the tasks we have set for ourselves. It’s a honest day's work in a very old part of Delhi.
