Our shop, Rdm Engineering Pvt Ltd, is located in the Mahatwana Pura area of Mahoba. The place is run by Ashish Kumarchaurasia, who is the son of Mr. Prakash Chandra Chaurasia. It is a family-run kind of thing and we have been in this part of Mahoba for a long time. The building itself is older, and you can see the history in the walls. We do a lot of engineering work right here on the premises. Usually, you’ll find Ashish or one of the other guys covered in a bit of grease or dust from the machines. It is not a clean, shiny office by any means. There are tools laying around and metal scraps in the corners of the workshop. We like it that way because it shows we are actually doing the work. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We do not have any fancy signs or a big reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Sometimes the noise from the machines makes it hard to hear, so we have to step outside to the street to have a proper chat. It’s a simple life and a simple business here in Mahatwana Pura. We just focus on the machines and the engineering tasks we have in front of us every day. That is how we have always done things, just plain work.
