My workspace is located at Patiala House Courts, specifically in room 260. If you have ever been to the courts here, you know exactly how it is. It is always crowded and there is usually someone shouting or running past with a heavy stack of files. I spend most of my day sitting right there at my desk. It is a lot of paperwork, honestly. The air in the building is always heavy with that smell of old paper and blue ink. My table is small and it has a slight wobble to it, but I have put a piece of folded cardboard under one of the legs to fix it. It has been like that for a few years now and it works fine. People come in and out all day long. Some people are worried about their cases and some are just in a big hurry to get somewhere else. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the files just seem to pile up on their own when I am not looking. It is a long walk from the main gate to room 260, especially when it is raining and the ground gets all slippery. I usually bring my own lunch from home in a small steel box. The canteen is okay, but I prefer what my wife makes. It is a busy life here and there is not much time for lounging around. You hear the fans whirring and the distant sound of lawyers talking. It is just how things go.
