Ratnam Agri International Private Limited operates out of a small shop in West Vinod Nagar. Our address is Prop No-E-57, and we are in Private Shop No-4. It’s a humble spot in East Delhi, but it serves us well for what we need to do. We deal with international trade in the agriculture sector, which sounds a lot more fancy than it actually looks on a daily basis. Mostly, it’s just us sitting at our desks, surrounded by ledgers and shipping labels. We started here because the rent was fair and the neighborhood is full of hardworking people. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to polish our image. What you see is what you get. We might have a stack of boxes blocking the entrance sometimes, or the phone might ring off the hook, but we always try to get back to everyone. Working in West Vinod Nagar means we’re close to the local markets, which is handy. We’ve had some ups and downs over the years, like everyone else. There was a time we almost ran out of space, but we reorganized the shelves and made it work. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to keep doing our business honestly, helping people get their agri-goods from one place to another without a lot of unnecessary trouble. It's a simple operation, but we put in the hours every single day.
