About Ranjan Study Centre – Education in New Delhi
We opened up Ranjan Study Centre right here in Malviya Nagar because there weren't many quiet spots for kids to just sit and learn their lessons. It’s a pretty simple setup. We have some wooden benches and a couple of whiteboards that always seem to have a smudge on them no matter how much we wipe. The street outside gets noisy around five when the market picks up, but inside, we try to keep things focused. I started this with my cousin because we saw how students were struggling with their math and science basics. It isn’t fancy at all. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, and the light in the back corner flickers if you don’t hit the switch just right. We usually spend our afternoons going over school textbooks and helping with homework that kids find too hard to do on their own. Parents stop by after work to pick up their children, and we often end up chatting about the local news or the weather. It’s just how things go here. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy signs, just a small board outside the door. Mostly, people find us because their neighbors told them we were here. It’s a small place, maybe a bit cramped when the bigger groups arrive, but it works for what we need. We just keep the doors open and try to help the students get through their exams without too much stress.
