Ramaswamys Ias Academy

This branch of the academy is in Old Rajinder Nagar at number 22. If you know Delhi, you know this is the heart of the IAS coaching world. The streets are packed with bookstores and small eateries for the students who live nearby. Our office here is pretty modest. We have the usual setup with classrooms and benches where the aspirants spend their time studying. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because so many people want to study in this area. We don't put much effort into making the place look polished; we're more concerned with the actual study sessions and the books. The atmosphere is usually quite intense because everyone is worried about their future and the exams. We have stacks of newspapers and journals everywhere. It's just the way it is in Rajinder Nagar. We deal with a lot of inquiries every day from people moving into the area just to join these classes. We just give them the schedule and show them where they can sit. It's a very practical operation. We don’t do any big advertisements or flashy slogans. People find us because they know we’ve been here at this address for a long time. It’s a lot of hard work for the students and a lot of organization for us to keep it going. We just keep the doors open and the lectures going as they should. It’s a busy life but we are used to it by now.
