You can find us at No. J-8/77- F in Nehru Market, which is part of the Rajouri Garden area. It’s a very crowded market, and finding a parking spot is almost impossible most days. Our boutique is just a small room tucked away in one of the lanes. We do a lot of stitching and alterations for the ladies who live around here. There’s usually fabric scraps on the floor and several measuring tapes hanging around. It’s not a polished showroom. We have a few mannequins in the window, but they’re getting a bit old now. My sister and I handle most of the work ourselves. We take orders, do the measurements, and then spend hours at the machines. Sometimes we get a bit behind when there are too many weddings happening at once. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door. People find us because their friends told them we do okay work. It’s a busy life in the market, but we like being part of the community. We aren't looking to expand or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop going and make sure the clothes fit right. It’s a simple way to make a living in the city.
