Being in Rajouri Garden Main Market at J-108 means there is never a quiet moment. Rajendra Kumar Hemant Kumar Beej Bhandar has been part of this busy street for a long time, and you can usually find us surrounded by sacks of seeds and various gardening things. The market is always crowded, people pushing past, but once you step inside our spot, it smells like earth and dried plants. It’s a family thing, really. We spend most of the day talking to people about what they want to grow, whether it’s for a small pot on a balcony or something bigger. We aren't the type to use big words or fancy displays. The seeds are kept in their bags and containers, and we know exactly where everything is even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. Some days are slower when it rains, and we just sit back and watch the water hit the main road. Other days, like when the planting season starts, it’s a bit of a madhouse here. We just try to help whoever walks through the door at J-108. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and labeling things by hand. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just the shop, the seeds, and us trying to keep up with the Rajouri Garden pace. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till the shutters go down at night.
