Set The Boutique

Set The Boutique is tucked away at No. 18/6 in Punjabi Bagh Extension. It’s a nice enough area and we’ve been here for a good while. We don’t have a big neon sign or anything like that. It’s more of a local spot where people come when they need something specific. The boutique is where we keep our designs and the fabrics we’re working with. It’s not very big, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time at the cutting table or talking to people who walk in. Punjabi Bagh is a busy place, but our little corner in the extension is alright. We just do our thing. There’s no corporate ladder here. It’s just a few of us making sure the clothes look right. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped with all the racks, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest boutique in the city. We just want to stay busy and do work we aren't ashamed of. If you’re around the extension, you might see us. We’re usually there from morning until evening. It’s a simple business. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat or look at what's new. Sometimes we have tea together. It's that kind of place. We just focus on the needles and thread. (239 words)
