Prakash College

Prakash College is right on the Main Road in Khanpur, at number 6/97. If you’ve ever been to Khanpur in Delhi, you know how busy and packed the streets are. We are right in the thick of it, with cars and buses zooming past the entrance all day long. It can get pretty noisy, but you sort of get used to the sound of the traffic after a while. The college isn’t a massive university campus; it’s more of a compact building that houses all our classrooms and a small office for the administration. We have a lot of students from South Delhi and the surrounding areas who come here for their classes. Finding a parking spot near our entrance is almost impossible, so most people take the bus or get dropped off. The building itself is a bit older and has that typical Delhi look with its flat roof and concrete finish. Inside, we have rooms filled with benches where students spend most of their time. We don’t have a lot of fancy amenities or a big canteen, just a few places nearby where people can grab a snack. It’s a very practical place, and we focus on getting through the syllabus without much distraction. The staff here is mostly local, and we’ve been operating from this same Khanpur location for a long time. It’s just a regular college where we try to do our best every day.
