The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get things done. Most days start with a lot of noise from the street outside as people head to the clinics or the shops nearby. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoons, especially when the school buses and the cars all try to fit through the same lanes at once. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and checking on shipments that need to go out. It’s a lot of back and forth on the phone with various people. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when it rains, but we manage. We have a small team here and we just focus on the day-to-day tasks. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It feels like a lived-in space because it is. We keep the kettle going for tea throughout the day which helps when the workload piles up. There’s no big sign or anything flashy outside, just our name on the door and the sound of the printer going in the corner. That is basically us.
