Pathak Coaching Institute

We are located in Uttam Nagar, right over in Om Vihar, Phase 2. It’s a very busy part of the town, which actually turns out to be good because it makes it easy for the students to find where we are. We don’t have a massive building with lots of floors at Pathak Coaching Institute, just a few rooms where we hold all our classes. The walls are mostly covered in old notes, diagrams, and calendars that have been there for years. We started this coaching center because we saw so many kids in the neighborhood needing a little bit of extra help with their school studies. It really isn't a high-tech facility at all. We use regular whiteboards and markers, and sometimes the markers run out of ink right in the middle of a big explanation. We don’t really mind that. We just grab another one from the drawer and keep on going. The chairs we have are the basic plastic kind you see everywhere. They get moved around a lot depending on how many people show up for a particular session. We don't have a big staff of people, just a few of us who really know our subjects well. We spend most of our time grading papers or explaining the same math problem five different ways until it finally clicks for someone. It gets a bit hot in the summer months, even with the ceiling fans going at full speed. That’s just part of life in Uttam Nagar.
