Rounaq Creations

Rounaq Creations is tucked away at A-2/1 in Paschim Vihar. We’ve been in this part of town for quite some time now. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, but we’ve got our little workspace set up here. We do a lot of creative work, mostly involving fabrics and designs. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting around a big table with sketches and samples everywhere. My wife does a lot of the actual design work while I handle the boring stuff like taxes and orders. Paschim Vihar is a good neighborhood, very peaceful compared to the city center. We like it because we can actually hear ourselves think. We don't have a storefront per se, it’s more of a workshop where the ideas come to life. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, drinking way too much tea and coffee. We don’t have a big corporate structure. If something needs doing, one of us just does it. We’ve made things for local weddings and some small boutiques around the area. It’s nice to see something we worked on being worn by someone in the street. We don’t really use fancy jargon to describe what we do. We just make stuff and hope people like it. It’s been a slow build over the years, but we’re happy with where we are. It’s just us, doing our thing every day without too much fuss or bother.
