We've been at No. 58, Gupta Park for a while now. Most folks know us because we’re right opposite the Najafgarh police station. It's a busy spot but easy to find once you get into the area. We make various concrete items here on the premises. It’s a dusty job, honestly, and my clothes are usually covered in grey powder by noon. We spend most of our mornings getting the mixtures right and pouring the molds. If you walk by, you’ll probably see the guys out front moving heavy blocks or loading up a truck for a local delivery. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big office with air conditioning. It’s just the yard, the bags of cement, and the equipment we use every single day. We started this business since there was a lot of new building going on around here and people needed stuff for their projects. It isn't always pretty work, but it gets the job done eventually. We handle all the heavy lifting ourselves. The heat in Najafgarh can be really tough in the summer months, but we keep the machines running anyway. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up. Some days are slower than others, depending on the weather outside. Rain usually stops us from pouring, so we just tidy up the shop then or fix any tools that broke. We try to keep things very simple.
