Our office is tucked away at B-138 on the second floor in Mohammadpur, which is right inside the Bhikaji Cama Place area. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming up to our windows. We have been in this spot for a good while now, and the walk up the stairs every morning has just become part of the routine. The space isn't huge, but it fits our desks and the few chairs we have for visitors. Most days, we just sit here and handle whatever work comes through the door. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you are not used to the back streets of Mohammadpur. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. It is nothing like those fancy corporate buildings you see in the movies. We just have our equipment and a few files stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the electricity acts up when it gets too hot outside, but we usually just open the windows and keep going. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we know the local shops and where to get a decent lunch. It is a practical place for us to spend our day. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address on the door to let people know they found us.
