Paras Art Studio

Our studio is at Wz 108C in Todapur Village. It is a bit of a hidden spot if you aren't familiar with the village area, but that’s part of why we like it here. It is quite different from the main city parts of Delhi. Paras Art Studio is where we do all our creative work. This is not a clean, white-walled gallery. It is a working studio, so there are paint splatters on the floor and brushes soaking in jars everywhere. It probably looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time just working on different pieces. It is a quiet place where we can focus. We don't have a sales team or any corporate managers. It is just us doing the art. Sometimes we get stuck on a project and just sit around drinking tea until an idea comes. Other times we work through the night if we are on a roll. The village has a nice, grounded feel to it which helps with the work. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making things that we think look good or serve a purpose. People sometimes drop by to see what we are making, and we are happy to show them around, even if we are a bit covered in dust or paint. It’s an honest way to spend the day and we wouldn't have it any other way. Every day is a bit of a struggle and a joy.
