Our office is located right on the ground floor at 74 Satya Niketan. It is a lively neighborhood to be in, mostly because of all the college students walking around and the smell of food from the nearby cafes. Working at Conference & Exhibition Management Services India Private India keeps us on our toes. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking to people about how many stalls can fit in a hall. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don't have to wait for the lift, but the noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes. Our space isn't very big, and it’s often filled with samples of carpets or bits of signage from past events. We don't really go for that polished corporate look. The walls have some marks on them and the chairs don't all match. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes we are here late into the evening, just trying to make sure every detail for a conference is in place. It’s a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls. We’ve been in Satya Niketan for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees, just a small group of people who know how to handle the mess of event management. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep everything moving.
