Parampara Seeds

We run Parampara Seeds out of a house in Motibagh. It’s House No B 101 in Nanakpura. It’s not your typical storefront or office building. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the orders and keep track of things. Being in New Delhi 21 means we get all kinds of weather, which matters when you’re dealing with seeds every day. The rooms are filled with bags and ledgers. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone or checking the stock in the back room. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We've been at this address for a long time. The neighbors know us as the seed people. We don't do much advertising; people just find us through word of mouth. It’s a small operation. We keep the doors open during the day for deliveries. Sometimes the dog from next door wanders in and we give it a bit of a biscuit. It's a very grounded way to spend the day. We just focus on the seeds and the logistics of getting them where they need to go. We have a small desk for the computer and another one for the paperwork. The kitchen is where we keep the tea supplies. It’s not a big company feel, it’s just us doing our thing in a house. It gets the job done and we like being here. That's about all there is to it.
