Opera Global

You can find Opera Global in Room No. D-5 at Indira Niketan in Laxmi Bai Nagar. New Delhi is a huge place, but this little corner feels familiar to us. Our office is just one room, so it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have our desks pushed up against the walls and shelves full of folders that we probably should have archived years ago. It is a functional space. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy sign. Usually, one of us just answers the door when someone knocks. Most of the day is spent on the phone or typing away. The building has that old government-colony feel to it, which is quite common in this part of Delhi. It is not the most modern setup, but it is where we started and we have just stuck with it. We handle various global bits of business from this small room. It is funny how much you can get done without a big corporate office. We eat our lunch together at the main table most days. It is a very grounded way to work. We are not looking to move anytime soon because we like the location. It is close to everything we need. We just keep things moving, handling one task after another until it is time to lock up and head home for the evening. No frills, just steady work in a small room.
