Our registered office is located in the basement at No. 9/11 in Old Rajinder Nagar. It is an interesting spot because the area is always full of students who are studying for their exams. Being in a basement means we don't see much of the sun during the day, but it stays relatively cool even when the Delhi heat is at its worst. We handle merchant exports, so there is a lot of coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. The desks are covered in ledgers and old coffee mugs. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea when we have to stay late to finish up the manifests. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than three people in the office at once. The lighting is a bit dim, but it works for what we do. We've been at this address for quite some time now, and we know the local chai wallah and the postman by name. There isn't any fancy decor or expensive furniture here. We just have the basics that we need to keep the export business running. Parking is a huge problem in this part of town, so we usually tell people to take the metro instead of driving. It’s a simple operation, and we just try to keep things moving as steadily as possible throughout the month.
