Afsana Creations

Afsana Creations is tucked away at H. No. 16, Street No. 44 in Zakir Nagar. It’s right near New Friends Colony, but the vibe in our street is much more local and crowded. Finding us for the first time can be a bit of a challenge because the lanes are narrow and there are so many houses and shops packed together. We work out of this small space where we do all our creative work. There are always stacks of fabric and spools of thread lying around on the tables. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. Street No. 44 is always full of life, with kids playing and people selling vegetables right outside the door. Being near New Friends Colony helps people find the general area, but once they get to Zakir Nagar, they usually have to ask someone for H. No. 16. We do a lot of hand-finished work, so it takes a lot of patience and time. Sometimes our eyes get tired from the detail work, so we take breaks to have tea and chat. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our presence here in the neighborhood. People come to us mostly by word of mouth from their friends or neighbors. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves.
