You can find us at S-1 in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 2. It’s a big, busy place with a lot of trucks and workers everywhere. Our unit is just one of many in this block. We’ve been in Okhla for a good amount of time. It’s a practical location for a garment business. Inside, the walls are a bit scuffed and there are piles of cloth in every corner. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we’re too busy working. It’s a lot of cutting, sewing, and checking for mistakes. The air is always a bit thick with lint. We have some heavy-duty machines that make a lot of noise. You get used to it. It’s just a handful of us running the show. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something breaks, we usually try to fix it ourselves first. The neighbors are mostly other small factories, so we all know each other a bit. We get our tea from the same guy every morning. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just make clothes and send them out. Some days are long, and we stay late to finish up. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. We keep things moving and stay focused on the work. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we manage to stay busy.
