We are over at Ercom House. It is in C-Block, right by the Community Centre. We’ve been here for a while now. Some days it gets pretty busy around here, especially with everyone coming and going from the other shops nearby. Our office is at C-1. It’s a decent spot. We have our desks set up and the usual stuff you’d expect in an engineering place. There is always someone working on a drawing or a plan. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t really do much fancy stuff. Just a lot of work at our desks. The C-Block area is okay, plenty of parking if you get here early enough, but after ten it’s a bit of a mess. Most of us just walk if we live close. It’s not a huge place, just enough for what we need to get done. We have these old chairs that squeak a bit but they are comfortable enough for a long day. If you look out the window, you just see the street and some trees. It’s quiet enough most mornings until the traffic picks up. We’ve got a lot of files piled up because we haven’t gone fully digital yet. That’s just how it is here. We keep busy with our projects and try to stay organized. It’s not always easy but we manage to stay on top of things.
