Not Currently Employed

People living around Street No 10 in Kailash Nagar know how busy this part of Delhi can get. Our place at 9 2257 is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. Since there is Not Currently Employed status here, the days look a bit different than the usual 9 to 5 grind everyone else is doing. You see the neighbors heading out early while you are just starting the tea. Delhi 110031 is a crowded area, but it has its own rhythm that you get used to after a while. This isn't some big office building with a sign outside. It is just where we are. We spend time dealing with the usual house chores and maybe walking down the lane to get groceries. The street is narrow and the bikes always seem to be honking at something. It is a very normal life here without any corporate titles or big goals for the quarter. Sometimes it is nice to just be part of the neighborhood without the pressure of a workplace hanging over your head. We have lived here for a bit and seen the shops change hands, but our spot stays the same. Just a simple home in Kailash Nagar where things are quiet on the professional front. No big plans, just living day by day in this corner of the city. We keep to ourselves and just handle the daily life stuff.
