Nitin Cement Co is located over at Shop No-7699/11-A, right by the Dharmapura Lodge near the Clock Tower. It’s a landmark everyone knows, which helps since our shop is tucked away a bit. We deal mostly in cement, so everything usually has a thin layer of grey dust on it. That is just how a cement business works. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s a functional space where bags are stacked high. Most of our work involves heavy lifting and coordinating with drivers. The area around the Clock Tower is always bustling, which can make deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. We have been here for years, and the building itself has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit old. We aren't into big sales pitches or corporate branding. We just provide cement to people who are building things in the city. It’s a basic, necessary job. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to have a long tea break. We take it as it comes. Our neighbors at the lodge are used to the noise of the trucks and the movement of the bags. It's a tight-knit spot and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we are happy with how things go here at the shop.
