We are based at House No.22, which is known as Golden House, on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Life Insurance Corporation of India building. Darya Ganj is famous for its history with books and publishing, so it’s the right place for us to be. We’ve been in this building for many years. It’s an old house with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep. We publish all sorts of books and educational materials. It’s a busy office with papers and manuscripts piled up on desks. We don't have a modern, minimalist look. It’s a working office where real editors and staff are busy every day. We aren't trying to sound like a massive global corporation even though we have "International" in our name. We're just a group of people who love books and work hard to get them printed and out to the shops. Being near LIC makes it easy to give directions to visitors. The traffic in Darya Ganj is usually a nightmare, but that’s just part of the experience of being in this part of Delhi. We like the energy of Ansari Road. It’s full of life and other publishers. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next project. It’s a straightforward way to run a publishing house. No frills, just lots of reading and printing at Golden House.
