Navjeevan Model Secondary School

Our school is located over at Outram Lindes in G.T.B. Nagar. If you’ve spent any time in this part of North Delhi, you probably know the area well. We’ve been here for many years, and the building has that comfortable, lived-in feel that comes with time. It’s a secondary school, so we deal with the older kids, which definitely keeps things interesting. The hallways are usually pretty loud between classes, and there’s always someone running late. We don’t have a big PR department or a glossy website with professional photos. What you see is pretty much what you get. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us through all sorts of changes in the neighborhood. G.T.B. Nagar is always buzzing because of the university students nearby, so there's a lot of energy around. We just focus on our daily schedule and making sure the students have a decent place to learn their subjects. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't try to be fancy or pretend we have all the answers. We just open up every morning, get the registers sorted, and start the lessons. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we put a bucket out and keep going. It’s just a regular, honest school for the kids in this community. We’re glad to be part of the local scenery and the neighborhood’s history.
