Nath & Co

Our shop, Nath & Co, has been a fixture at 16 Inner Circle in Connaught Place for a very long time. Being in CP means we are surrounded by those famous white pillars and the high ceilings that make the whole area feel a bit grand, even if the paint is peeling in some corners. Our space still has some of the old wooden counters and heavy doors from years ago. It feels a bit like stepping back in time when you walk in from the heat of the street. We see everyone here, from tourists taking photos to people who have been coming to us for decades. The pace in the Inner Circle is fast, but inside our doors, things tend to move a little slower. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and hearing their stories while we help them out. The floor is made of old stone that has been polished by thousands of footsteps over the years. It isn't a modern, shiny store, and we don't try to make it one. We prefer the character of the old building, even if the plumbing is a bit temperamental sometimes. Most of our work involves keeping track of records and making sure the shop stays in good shape. It is a privilege to be in such a historic part of Delhi, and we just try to do our jobs quietly and stay part of the local community.
