Narang Coaching Centre

If you head over to Paschim Vihar, you’ll find us at number 300. It’s a decent enough spot, though parking on the street can be a real headache sometimes. The coaching centre is basically just a few rooms with desks and chairs that have seen better days. We’ve been running things here for a while, so the place has that lived-in feel. There’s always a bit of a scramble in the afternoons when the batches change over. We try to keep the noise down, but with a bunch of teenagers in one place, that doesn't always happen. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, one of us just steps out to talk to whoever walks in the front door. The windows look out over the street, so you can see the local shops and people going about their business. It’s a very local kind of place. We have a water cooler that makes a loud gulping sound every time someone uses it, which always makes people laugh. We just focus on the books and the exams. There aren’t any big posters or flashy lights. It’s just a quiet enough space to get some work done and help the students understand their subjects a bit better. We’ve got stacks of old question papers in the corner and a clock that’s always five minutes fast, but we just leave it like that.
