You can find us at 141 A Indira Market, near the Delhi G P O. Being near the main post office means there’s always a lot of movement and noise around here. Indira Market has its own pace, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our shop at 141 A is old, with high ceilings and wooden shelves that have seen better days. We don't see any reason to change things just for the sake of looking modern. We deal with people face to face every day and that's how we like it. The counters are worn down from years of use. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we go through the ledgers. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of what comes in and what goes out by hand. We don’t use much technology besides the basics. It’s more about the relationships we’ve built with the other traders in the market over the decades. Sometimes we sit out front on a small stool when things are quiet and watch the people going to the G P O. It’s a good spot to be in. We keep things simple and honest. If a customer asks for something we don’t have, we tell them straight. There’s no point in making things complicated for anyone. We open up on time every day and we close when the market starts to wind down for the evening. It’s just a regular business doing regular things for regular people.
