N K Srivastava

I spend most of my days here at Patiala House Courts near B S Mehta Square. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming and going all the time. N K Srivastava is just the name on the door really. I’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The morning commute is usually the hardest part, especially when the traffic near the square gets backed up. Once I get inside and settle into the routine, things start moving. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of papers stacked up. People stop by when they need help with things or just to ask a quick question. I try to keep everything organized, but it can be tough when there is so much happening at the court every single day. The tea guy comes around a couple of times and that’s usually when I take a small break. You get used to the noise of the typewriters and people talking in the hallways. It’s just how things are around here. Most of the people I see are regulars, though there’s always someone new looking for directions. I’ve lived in the city long enough to know my way around the court complex pretty well. There isn't much to say about us other than we are here and we do what we do every day without much fuss. It works for me and the few people who help me out.
