M/s Rashmi Exports

We are over here at 56-a in the LIG Flats at Maya Kunj. Anyone who knows the Maya Puri area of New Delhi knows how busy it stays throughout the day. Our office is not a fancy place, just a simple space where we handle the export paperwork. Most days, the desk is covered in heaps of paper and someone is always on the phone with a driver or a warehouse manager. We have been in this exact spot for a good while now. The stairs up to the flat are a bit on the narrow side, and the neighbors can be loud, but that is just part of living in New Delhi. Our mornings are spent checking for any updates and making sure the containers are being filled the right way. It is a lot of repetitive work, if we are being honest. You check a form, sign it, and then wait for the next one to arrive. During the hot summer months, the heat in Maya Puri is quite intense, so the fan stays on all day long. Lunch is usually eaten right at the desk while looking out at the other buildings in the complex. This is not a big corporate setup with a lobby or a receptionist. It is just a few of us making sure the goods get to where they need to go. Sometimes there are delays at the port or trucks get stuck, which is always a bit of a headache. We just deal with those things as they come.
