Mr Pradeep Gaur

This is where Mr Pradeep Gaur works. We are situated at Patiala House Courts in chamber number 952. It is a busy place, as you can imagine. There are always people running around with files and papers. The chamber is quite small. We have a lot of books and old documents stacked on every shelf. There isn't much room for more than two or three people at a time. It gets very crowded during the court hours. We have been here for a long time. The walls are covered in legal books that haven't been moved in years. We don't have a fancy waiting room. People just wait in the hallway or stand by the door. It is a very hectic environment. We don't have time for marketing or making things look pretty. Everything is about the work here. We use old typewriters sometimes, though we have a computer now too. The coffee from the canteen nearby is what keeps us going. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend long hours looking through papers. It is just Pradeep and a little bit of help. We don't have a corporate structure. It’s more of a personal setup. Everyone knows each other in this block of chambers. We just keep doing our thing day after day. It is just the reality of working in the courts. There is always a lot of noise from the corridors but we just focus on the files.
