Mohaan Foods Ltd.

You can find us up on the second floor at 78/3, Janpath. Mohaan Foods Ltd. is the name on the door, though it’s just a plain wooden door without much decoration. It’s an old building, so the stairs are a bit steep and the elevator is a bit moody, so we usually just walk up. Downstairs is always busy with people shopping and walking along Janpath, but up here it’s a bit quieter. We spend most of our time dealing with food suppliers and checking on orders. There are a few desks pushed together and a lot of files stacked on the window sill. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We’ve been in this office for quite a while. We don't have a big fancy kitchen here, just a small area for making tea and warming up lunch. Most of our work is about logistics and making sure the food gets where it needs to go. We deal with a lot of different people, from farmers to shop owners. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes things go wrong, a truck breaks down or a shipment is late, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone fixing it. That’s just the nature of the food business. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just trying to keep the supply chain moving so people have what they need.
