Misty Abacus Academy

You can find us in the B 10 Market area of Vasant Kunj. We are at 29/10. It’s a busy little market and we fit right in. We mostly teach kids how to use the abacus. It sounds old-fashioned but it really helps them with their math. The room is usually full of children clicking those little beads back and forth. It can get quite noisy with all the counting and talking. We have been here for a while and most parents in the area know us. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and we are there working with the kids. We think it is important for children to learn things with their hands. It is not just about the numbers but the focus they get. We have classes after school and on weekends too. The space is bright and we try to keep it tidy but with kids around there is always something out of place. We aren't a big chain school. It is more of a local thing where we know all the students by name. Sometimes we have small competitions to keep things interesting. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do. If you are doing your shopping in Vasant Kunj you probably pass us all the time. It is a good place for learning and we enjoy seeing the progress the kids make.
