Maya

Maya is located in Shahpur Jat, which is a place known for its narrow lanes and old houses turned into shops. We are at No. 5-i Jungi House, not too far from Ashiad Village. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it can be a bit of a maze, but that is what makes it interesting. Our shop is a quiet little space where we work on our designs and meet with people who stumble upon us. It’s an old building, so it has some quirks, like uneven floors and thick walls. We don't have a massive sign outside, just a simple door that stays open most of the day. Inside, you will find us surrounded by different materials and sketches. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time just experimenting with ideas and seeing what works. The neighborhood is full of other creative people, so there is always something going on nearby. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees near Ashiad Village come by and hang out on the rooftops, which is always a distraction. We like the pace here because it’s not as rushed as the main city markets. It feels more like a village within the city, which is exactly why we chose Jungi House for our little business.
