Mathematics Home Tutions

Based out of C-12 in Kalkaji, this is a straightforward home-style tutoring setup. We don't have a big commercial office or anything like that. It’s mostly done right here or by going to student houses nearby. Kalkaji is a busy area, but our spot is relatively tucked away. I’ve been teaching math for years now. It started with just a couple of neighbors' kids and grew from there. The dining table often doubles as a desk where we spread out the textbooks and notebooks. It’s much more relaxed than a big school. We drink a lot of tea while going over algebra or trigonometry. I like that it's quiet enough to actually think. Sometimes the doorbell rings or the neighbors are loud, but that’s just life in C-12. People know us around here. We don't use fancy software or projectors, just pencils, paper, and maybe a calculator if the problem is really long. It’s about getting the work done. If a student doesn’t understand something, we stay on that page until they do. There’s no rush to finish a syllabus just for the sake of it. It’s just me and the students, working through the curriculum one chapter at a time. It feels more personal this way, and I think the kids appreciate not being in a crowded room. My old dog usually sleeps under the table while we work. It’s a very calm way to spend the evening for everyone involved.
