Debashis Chakma Dc Couture

If you head down to Khirki Extension in Malviya Nagar, you’ll find us near Trikona Park. We go by Debashis Chakma Dc Couture. It sounds a bit more formal than we actually are. The shop is tucked away in a corner where it's a bit quieter than the main road. Most days we are busy with fabrics and sewing machines. It's not a big corporate office, just a workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is straight. The park nearby is a good place to take a break when the sun isn't too strong. We have been in this part of Delhi for a bit now. Sometimes the lanes get crowded, but that’s just how Malviya Nagar is. We work with different materials every day. We don't really use big words for what we do. It’s just making clothes and making sure they fit right. The lights are always on late because there is always something to finish. We keep our tools organized on the benches, or at least we try to. It can get messy when we have a lot of orders. We just wanted a place where we could work on our own terms. People around here know us as the place near the park. We don't do a lot of talking, mostly just focused on the work at hand. It's a small team here, just three of us mostly, and we get along fine.
