If you are looking for Mak Satyam Enterprises, you have to head down to the basement at 5/67 on Padam Singh Road. Being in Karol Bagh, it is always crowded outside. The street is full of shoppers and cars honking, but once you step down into our office, it gets a lot quieter. It’s a bit cooler down here too, which is nice during the summer months. We have been in this basement for a while. We do various bits of business work here. It’s mostly just desks and a lot of files. We don’t have big windows, so we rely on the overhead lights a lot. Sometimes we forget what the weather is like outside until we go up for lunch. Padam Singh Road is a busy place to be, but it’s convenient. We usually eat at one of the small shops nearby. Our day is mostly spent on the phone or typing things into the computer. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. We just focus on getting the tasks done for the day. It’s practical work. No one is trying to be fancy here. We just like to finish our lists and head back home to our families.
