Zedds

Zedds is right in the middle of the Malviya Nagar Main Market at No. 90/36. If you know the market, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. Our shop is just one of many in the row, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the other shopkeepers know us by name. The space inside is narrow, so we have to use the walls for all our shelving. It can get a bit tight when the delivery guys are bringing in new stock. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the noise from the street. The main market is always full of people shouting and cars trying to squeeze through gaps that are too small. It’s a lot of energy, and sometimes it’s exhausting, but it keeps things interesting. We don't have a fancy display or anything like that. We just put our items out where people can see them and talk to anyone who walks in. The counter is a bit scratched up from years of use, and the stool I sit on squeaks every time I move. We keep things simple here. There’s no big corporate strategy, just opening up in the morning, selling what we can, and closing up when it gets dark. It’s a straightforward way to make a living in a very busy part of the city.
