Mahavir Senior Model School

You’ll find our school right in the Sangam Park Extension, directly across from the Nanak Piao Gurudwara. It’s a very busy part of G.T. Karnal Road, so there is never a quiet moment with all the trucks and cars zooming past. We’ve been part of this area for many years now. The school building is a big, solid structure that’s seen a lot of students come and go. We don't really do any of that fancy branding. We’re just a local senior model school. Most of our time is spent in the office or the classrooms, just trying to keep the schedule on track. It gets pretty hot in the summers, so we’re always making sure the water coolers are full and the fans are spinning. The Gurudwara across the road is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. We have a mix of staff here, some who have been with us since the start and some newer faces. We don't have meetings about missions or visions; we just talk about what needs to be fixed or which class needs extra help. It’s a very practical environment. The floors are a bit worn down from all the feet walking on them, but that’s a good sign. We just stay focused on the students and the daily lessons. It’s a simple, honest school that doesn't try to be anything it isn't. We just show up and do our jobs every day.
