You have to really look for us if you aren't used to the lanes of Old Delhi. We are located at No. 4259 in Gali Bharon Wali, which is tucked inside the Jogiwara area off Nai Sarak. It’s a tight squeeze in these streets, and the walls are covered in old wires and peeling paint, but that’s where the best fabric trade happens. We deal in sarees. It’s a family business that’s been around for a long time. The office is usually full of opened boxes and rolls of fabric waiting to be sorted. It’s not a polished showroom where you sit on fancy sofas. Usually, you’re sitting on a stool or standing while we show you what we have. Nai Sarak is always loud with the sound of carts and people shouting, but inside the gali, it feels a bit different. We do a lot of wholesale, so there is always someone dragging a heavy bundle of sarees in or out. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially during the wedding season when everyone is in a rush. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. Most people find us because their parents shopped here or someone told them we have good stuff at fair prices. We just keep doing what we know, day in and day out, in this little corner of the city.
