Maas Architects

Maas Architects is located in a basement in Sarvodaya Enclave. The address is D-229. We are quite close to Mother International School, so we hear the school bells and the buses throughout the day. Working in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief in Delhi. We have some lights set up to keep it bright enough to see the blueprints. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. There are stacks of drawings everywhere and some old models gathering dust on the shelves. We don't have a lot of space for anything extra. Just the desks, the computers, and a small table for meetings. The walls are white but a bit scuffed from moving furniture around. We usually have a kettle going for tea. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Sarvodaya Enclave is a nice residential area, so it’s much calmer than being on a main road. We like the neighborhood. Sometimes we take a walk near the school just to stretch our legs. There’s no big reception desk here. If you come down the stairs, you’ll see us right there working. We aren't trying to look like a big firm. We just do our drawings and talk about site visits. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for a while now at D-229.
