M S Deloria Fertilizers & Chemicals

Our shop is located at 35/2 in the Veer Savarkar Block, right on Vikas Marg in Shakarpur. It’s a busy road so there’s always the sound of traffic coming inside. We keep a lot of different bags stacked up along the walls. Some are fertilizers for big fields and some are for people just trying to keep their home plants alive. There is a specific smell to the shop because of the chemicals, but you get used to it after ten minutes. M S Deloria Fertilizers & Chemicals has been around this neighborhood for quite a bit. People stop by to ask what they should use for their wilting tomatoes or what will make the grass greener. We try to give them the right bag without overcomplicating things. The shop is small and sometimes we have to move three things just to reach the one at the back. It’s just a few of us working here. We write down orders in a big ledger by hand. It’s more of a traditional way of doing business. We don't use flashy signs. The locals know where we are. If you’re walking down Vikas Marg, look for the shop with the heavy sacks near the door. We spend a lot of time explaining how much of each powder to mix with water. It is practical stuff that helps things grow. We are usually here six days a week just keeping the shelves stocked and the counter clear.
