M. M. Exports is located in the basement of D- 172 in Lajpat Nagar- 1. Having an office in a basement is actually quite nice during the hot summer months because it stays cooler down here. Lajpat Nagar is a busy area, but our spot is a bit more tucked away. It’s not a large place. We have a few rooms where we keep our desks and all the samples we deal with. Since we are in the export business, there are always boxes and items being moved around. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of new stock coming in. We don't have a fancy entrance or a big sign. It’s just a regular workplace where we get our jobs done. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking shipment statuses. There are only a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from filing papers to checking the quality of the goods. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood from the small windows near the top of the walls. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just work hard and try to keep everything organized. It’s an honest way to run things. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s just a simple, practical setup for our export business.
