M K Tutorial is situated in Shahdara, specifically over by Shivaji Park. It is not hard to find if you know the area. The building is an older one and we share the space with a couple of other small businesses. Inside, there are several rows of wooden benches that have seen better days. I remember painting them myself a few summers ago. The walls are covered in some old charts and a whiteboard that is getting a bit stained. In the evenings, the noise from the park carries in through the windows, especially when there is a cricket match going on. We have a few ceiling fans that hum quite loudly, which helps drown out the traffic noise from the main road. The stairs leading up are a bit steep, so you have to be careful when carrying heavy bags. Most of the people who come here live within walking distance. It is a simple setup because we do not need much to get the job done. I usually arrive early to sweep the floor and get the chalk ready. There is a small tea stall just outside the gate where I get my morning cup and chat with the owner. It is a steady routine that has worked for us for years. We do not have any big advertisements or flashy lights. Just a small board with the name on it. It feels like a part of the neighborhood now. People know where we are and what we do without us having to say much about it at all.
