If you find yourself in Bhola Nath Nagar, you’ll probably see us right across from the Ramila Ground. It’s a big open space that gets really busy during the holidays, but on most days, it’s just us and the local traffic. M B M International School is basically just a group of us who work here trying to keep everything running for the kids in the neighborhood. We show up early to open the gates and stay until the last bus leaves in the afternoon. The building is simple and we try to keep the walls painted so it looks okay from the street. Inside, it’s usually quite loud during the breaks, which is to be expected when you have so many students in one place. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, just classrooms, some desks, and teachers who know most of the families around here by name. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows to get a breeze from the ground outside. It’s a practical place. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We mostly just stick to the books and the daily schedule. If you walk past in the evening, you might see some of us still finishing up paperwork or tidying the staff room. It’s just a normal school doing its thing in this part of town. We are just here to help the kids learn.
